Miles Plumlee: Traded to Hawks

Plumlee has bounced around quite a bit in the past year. He began last season
with the Bucks before being dealt to Charlotte before the trade deadline. His
four-year, $52 million contract was largely seen as an unfavorable deal when he
signed it last season, but it appears the Hawks were willing to absorb it in
order to get the first pick of the 2nd round in Thursday’s draft and unload
Dwight Howard’s three-year, $70.5 million deal. Plumlee will likely split time
at center with Mike Muscala if he remains in Atlanta. Plumlee averaged 2.5
points and 2.1 rebounds across 10.8 minutes per game in 2017.
