After receiving only 24 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks, Conley returned to take on a larger workload in the second half of the Grizzlies’ back-to-back set and was able to come away with his first double-double of the season. Given the Grizzlies’ huge financial investment in him, it’s expected that Conley will see larger workloads more often than not this season, and with the veteran point guard reporting no health issues thus far after an injury-plagued 2015-16 campaign, he should remain a top-notch producer. Through his first three games, Conley is averaging 19.7 points, 6.7 assists per contest, though he’s still looking to notch his first steal.
