SACRAMENTO, Calif. —- Kings forward Marvin Bagley III, who has missed the last 12 games after sustaining a non-displaced fracture (right thumb) on October 23 against the Phoenix Suns, was re-evaluated earlier today by the team’s medical staff including X-ray imaging. The evaluation indicated that Bagley continues to make progress. He is currently traveling with the team and will not play during the four-game road trip. Bagley will be re-evaluated after the team returns to Sacramento and his status will be updated as appropriate.
The 20-year-old center averaged 14.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over 62 games during his rookie season in 2018-19. He was selected by the Kings with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
