Marshall didn’t take part in the shootaround with the Sixers and isn’t a candidate to play in Wednesday’s opener against the Celtics, as coach Brett Brown previously noted the point guard likely wouldn’t be available until some point in November. While Marshall’s activity shows that he’s progressing in the right direction, the Sixers will have to proceed with the Isaiah Canaan and T.J. McConnell as their two point guards for at least the first several games this season.
