Marquese Chriss: Leads bench with 16 points against Blazers

After fouling out after 24 minutes against the Jazz on Wednesday, Chriss bounced back with his best performance of the first three exhibitions. He shot over 50 percent from the field for the first time, although he also missed his first four attempts from the charity stripe after going a perfect 7-for-7 over the first pair of contests. Chriss’ development will be one of the more closely-monitored aspects of the early portion of the regular season, as the talented big man is expected to eventually claim the starting role at the four from veteran Jared Dudley.
