Marc Gasol: Hits 20 points in second straight game

Gasol’s dedication to add a three-point shooting element to his repertoire this offseason was certainly proved beneficial Sunday, as the center sank one of his four treys with 15.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the game. He buried two more three-pointers in the overtime period to give the Grizzlies the win, and has now knocked down six total for the season, tripling his output from all of last season. Gasol’s flirtation with the perimeter has docked his field-goal percentage to 39.1 percent for the season, but it hasn’t damaged his overall fantasy value now that he’s contributing in an entirely new category than he has in the past.
