Lyles totaled 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt), six rebounds, and two assists across 32 minutes during the Jazz’s 100-84 win against the Nuggets on Sunday.

Lyles drew the start with Derrick Favors sidelined due to knee soreness. It’s unclear how much time Favors is expected to miss, but Lyles filled in fantastically, draining a career-high four triples. Monday’s matchup versus the Mavericks will be treated as a must-win by both teams as the playoff race intensifies, so it’s possible Favors will end up giving it a go. However, if Favors is out or limited, Lyles could be the one who benefits once again.
