Luke Kennard: Selected by Pistons

Kennard was a breakout star during his sophomore season at Duke, leading the
team with 19.5 points per game. He’s not the most athletic prospect in the draft
— although his footwork is bar none — but the 6-6 guard gives the Pistons a
solid three point shooter (43.8 percent), which they surely need of after
finishing No. 28 in the league in three-point percentage last season. While it’s
unlikely Kennard will start over Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, the rookie should
provide a giant scoring spark off the bench.
