Nogueira suffered a sprained left ankle in Friday’s preseason finale and continues to deal with some lingering pain and swelling. Unless the swelling goes down over the next 24-to-48 hours, Nogueira could be held out Wednesday, which would likely open the door for Jakob Poeltl to see increased minutes behind starting center, Jonas Valanciunas. Look for Nogueira’s status to be updated following Wednesday’s morning shootaround.
