Williams isn’t as valued a member of the Lakers’ long-term backcourt core as D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram, but when he gets on the floor, he’s often going to dominate the ball. That’s been the case through his three preseason games, as he’s hit double figures in the scoring column each time. In those contests, Williams is averaging 16.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 24.0 minutes per game, while hitting 18-of-20 free-throw attempts.
