With Draymond Green and Klay Thompson taking 51 shots between them, Livingston’s shot attempts reached in a new low during his currrent string of starts in place of Stephen Curry (ankle). The veteran guard had taken no less than eight shots in any of the Warriors’ prior postseason games, but played the role of facilitator to this talented teammates Saturday. It was the 30-year-old’s first game with double-digit assist totals in the playoffs, and his third with single-digit scoring. Livingston will head back to a reserve role as soon as Game 4 if Curry’s increasingly probable return for that contest comes to fruition.
