James has played in each of the Cavaliers’ first two preseason games, but coach Tyronn Lue will hold out the reigning Finals MVP for the team’s next three contests in an effort to ensure he’s as fresh as possible for the regular season. The plan is for James to return for the preseason finale next Tuesday (Oct. 18) against the Wizards.
