Lance Stephenson: Makes Pelicans roster

The Pelicans officially announced the release of Alonzo Gee on Monday morning, meaning Stephenson will be kept with the team’s 15th and final roster spot. The Cincinnati product agreed to a one-year deal with New Orleans in September, and while he’ll likely slide into a reduced role off the bench, he could be set for increased minutes early in the year with Jrue Holiday (personal) and Tyreke Evans (knee, calf) sidelined.
