L.A. Clippers to Host “Military Mondays” Starting November 9th

The L.A. Clippers are hosting “Military Mondays” beginning Monday, November 9th, the team announced today. Powered by GovX.com, the Clippers will provide special pricing on tickets and team events to former and current military members, first responders and federal employees.

In celebration of service members, special on-court recognition of a military “Hero of the Game” will also be incorporated at each “Military Monday” game.

The first regular season “Military Monday” on November 9th features a ‘Big Flag’ presentation with active and veteran Military members, followed by an anthem performance by United States Air Force member Oscar G. Lopez Jr., TSgt, USAF. A halftime performance by the Manuel Arts High School Armed Exhibition Drill team led by Sergeant First Calls Miiko Clemmons and Chief Warrant officer Vernon Dayton rounds out the evening.

Fans who purchase a “Military Monday” ticket through GovX.com or by emailing military@clippers.com, have the ability to access pregame warmups and receive a complimentary T-shirt. GovX.com is a members-only website built for current and former military, first responders, and related federal employees. GovX.com uses verification technology to confirm a member’s service background as a gateway to accessing the ticket discount program.

Current GovX members can find their L.A. Clippers ticket discounts by navigating to www.govx.com/tickets. Any non-members who qualify for GovX can complete the free registration to access the discounted ticket program.
