Kyle Lowry: Out indefinitely with sore wrist

The All Star point guard sustained the injury Feb. 15 against the Hornets. He
subsequently decided to disregard the discomfort and take part in the All Star
weekend festivities. It appears he under estimated the injury, and the Raptors
are now labeling him as out indefinitely. There is no timetable for a return,
but expect the team to exercise caution with their star guard in order to avoid
a lingering issue heading into the home stretch of the regular season. Lowry is
in the midst of a career season, averaging 22.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.9
assists per game. Cory Joseph started in his place Friday, and figures to
continue picking up the bulk of the work at point guard while Lowry is
sidelined.
