Despite coming off the bench for the first time this season, Korver turned in his best game of the series and didn’t lose out on any minutes. Though the Hawks ended up dropping the contest to fall into a 3-0 series deficit, they were much more competitive Friday than in Wednesday’s blowout loss in Game 2, and even led by six points heading into fourth quarter before the Cavs came through with clutch three-point shooting down the stretch. As a result of the Hawks’ relative success, it wouldn’t be surprising if Korver served in a reserve role again in Sunday’s Game 4.
