Kevon Looney: Cleared to play

Looney was injured in the Warriors’ preseason opener last Saturday and missed Tuesday’s game against the Clippers. The second-year forward has dealt with quite a bit since being drafted by Golden State in 2015, including two hip surgeries. Given the limited playing time he’s had over the past 15 months and the deep Golden State roster, Looney is not expected to be part of the rotation this season.
