Durant’s performances in the last two exhibition contests have to have the rest of the league wary of what could be an even better squad than last season’s 73-9 juggernaut. Durant is averaging 23.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals over 25.0 minutes in that pair of contests, while registering a 58.3 percent success rate from the field and draining a jaw-dropping 70 percent of his 10 three-point attempts over that span. Whenever Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson hit on all cylinders simultaneously this season, it will be hard to fathom a team that can keep pace with Golden State.
