Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on Bucks Snapping Warriors Streak

People are asking me to draw parallels between the Bucks stopping the Warriors winning streak because when I was a Buck we stopped the Lakers winning streak. No doubt its an auspicious achievement but my comment is  that The Lakers still hold the record for the most consecutive games won in a season.  Which means that Golden  State still has something to shoot for and the Lakers record of winning 33 games in a row is still in tack for now.  Regarding The Bucks stopping the Warriors, the people of Milwaukee have got to be proud of their young team as they are winning significant games. I am sure that they will cherish this moment for a very long time. The Bucks new ownership is actively trying to take the steps that will enable their team to contend for the title. So speaking as a Milwaukee Buck legend I like seeing such a young team continue to improve. Maybe they will get lucky like the Lakers did when they got Magic or when the Bucks got me. This is the way you make the moves that will eventually gain you a championship. So stay tuned… the NBA season is in full swing and I am sure we are in for a good ride.
