The big man took advantage of a Lakers’ frontcourt that has been highly vulnerable to opposing bigs in recent history, tallying his second double-double in as many preseason contests. Nurkic and Nikola Jokic once again both laid claim to spots in the starting five in this one, as has been the case in the opener, an arrangement that yielded very positive results. Considering the talent in the frontcourt rotation of Nurkic, Jokic and Kenneth Faried, coach Mike Malone appears to have an enviable problem on his hands with his respect to playing time for the trio in the upcoming season, but all should see sufficient minutes to keep them fantasy-relevant.
