Jackson was a borderline first-round pick last year, but ultimately ended up
returning to North Carolina for his Junior season. He saw his stock improve as a
result, posting a solid 18.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. The
first-team all-american drastically improved his three-point shot, which likely
led to his rise up the draft board. He figures to be a candidate to start at
small forward heading into the season. If he doe snot, he will presumably have
plenty of opportunity to earn playing time as the season progresses.
