The Nuggets’ deep frontcourt will likely limit Hernangomez’s playing time when the regular season begins, but he saw some expanded minutes Sunday with Darrell Arthur (knee), Nikola Jokic (rest) and Wilson Chandler (rest) sitting out. The 21-year-old was lauded for his ability to run the floor and score in a variety of ways during the pre-draft process, so he’ll likely be asked to give the Nuggets an infusion of offense off the bench when coach Michael Malone calls his number.
