Josh McRoberts: Begins live practice

McRoberts missed the entire preseason and was yet to take contact in practice as of Sunday, but he now appears to be making tangible progress in his recovery from a left foot injury. The big man intimated that when he does return, he’s expecting to see most of his minutes as a small-ball center behind entrenched starter Hassan Whiteside. McRoberts remains without a return timeline, however, so it’s unclear when, exactly, he’ll be available to coach Erik Spoelstra.
