Jose Calderon: Sits out practice

The veteran missed the team’s final three preseason games with a strained left calf, and with the regular season only four days away it’s fair to question whether he’ll be available for the opener against the Rockets. The Lakers have a day off Sunday before practicing Monday and Tuesday, so expect to know more with regard to Calderon’s status early next week.
