Jordan Mickey: Scores 16 points in 22 minutes Saturday

With the Celtics sitting out four of their regular starters in the game, Mickey saw his most extensive run of the team’s three preseason contests and turned in a stellar stat line. The 22-year-old remains buried in the Celtics’ deep frontcourt and is unlikely to open the season in a rotation spot, but appears on sturdy ground for a roster spot after impressing as a rookie in his games with the organization’s D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
