Jordan Clarkson: Comes off bench in preseason finale

Clarkson was back on the bench after starting the last two games and matched starter Lou Williams’ point total on the night while logging six more minutes than the veteran two-guard. The outing was Clarkson’s first single-digit scoring output of preseason and he notably struggled with his shot for the third consecutive game. The third-year pro closes out the exhibition slate with a 30.3 percent success rate (10-for-33) over the last trio of contests and particularly struggled from long range over that span (5-for-18). It remains to be seen if coach Luke Walton will opt to keep Friday’s two-guard rotation as the norm to start the regular season, but Clarkson should be the recipient of plenty of minutes regardless of where he slots o the depth chart.
