Jonathon Simmons: Cleared to play Tuesday

Coach Gregg Popovich indicated on Saturday that he didn’t expect Simmons to miss more than a few days, so his availability Tuesday comes as little surprise. Danny Green (quad) is expected to miss the first two-to-three weeks of the season and the Spurs already announced that Kyle Anderson would start in his place at shooting guard, although Simmons could have a chance to see an increased role as well for the duration of Green’s absence.
