The Raptors opted to go with a smaller lineup against the Bucks during the first
round of the playoffs, but with the Cavaliers starting Kevin Love and Tristan
Thompson up front, the Raptors will need to shift back to their bigger lineup to
match up with Cleveland. That means both DeMarre Carroll and Serge Ibaka will
shift over a spot, with Valanciunas re-entering the top unit at center. That
also sends Norman Powell back to the bench, although Powell’s strong play should
allow him to see significant minutes with the second unit. In four games against
the Cavaliers this season, Valanciunas averaged 10.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and
1.0 assist across 26.6 minutes.
