Leuer provided an encouraging performance in his first game in a Pistons uniform, offering a glimpse of the skills that prompted Detroit to reel him in during free agency with a four-year, $42 million contract. The only negative was that he misfired on both of his long-range attempts, but Leuer’s proficiency in that area is well established. He’s expected to receive a solid allotment of minutes behind Tobias Harris in the coming campaign and stretch the floor plenty when on the court.
