The Wizards were conservative with Wall’s minutes in the preseason since he was coming off surgeries on both of his knees, but he closed out exhibition play on a high note and looks to be in usual form heading into Thursday’s season opener against the Hawks. Health concerns may have deflated Wall’s stock a bit in fantasy drafts this season, but he was plenty effective while playing through pain for most of 2015-16, and the procedures actually may prove beneficial in the long run.
