Joel Embiid: Scores 12 points in 13 minutes Saturday

Embiid has been held to either 12 or 13 minutes in all three of his preseason games, as the 76ers continue to exhibit extreme caution with the big man, who had missed all of the last two seasons while recovering from a pair of foot fractures. His health has remained in tact so far during the preseason, but Embiid has unsurprisingly looked a little rusty on the offensive end in hitting only 8-of-22 shot attempts, though he did show some promising range by knocking down a three-pointer Saturday. On a more positive note, Embiid has been a capable rim protector, recording at least one block in each contest.
