Jimmy Butler: Ruled out Wednesday vs. Warriors

The Bulls had labeled Butler as a game-time decision heading into Wednesday’s
contest, but he didn’t show enough improvement in his recovery from the bruised
right heel to take part in the team’s shootaround, so he’ll be sidelined for a
third straight game. Butler will continue to be evaluated on a day-to-day basis
over the final two games of the team’s road trip, but until he’s back in action,
look for Michael Carter-Williams to stick in the starting five alongside Jerian
Grant. With Dwyane Wade (illness) also questionable to play, Carter-Williams
shapes up as an intriguing DFS play after averaging 22.0 points, 7.5 rebounds,
5.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block in 33.0 minutes per game over the past two
contests.
