Lamb has appeared in just two games with the Hornets, but the team saw enough of him to lock him up for three more seasons beyond the current one. He could work as a starter for the Hornets at some point this season or down the road, but he’s playing off the bench now, and figures to be used mainly in that role for the duration of his contract.
