Grant is slated to see more time on the wing this season, but saw some involvement in the frontcourt Thursday with Joel Embiid limited to 12 minutes and Nerlens Noel (groin) and Jahlil Okafor (knee) held out entirely. While Grant responded well to an expanded workload, it’s unlikely that he’ll be in line for 25-plus minutes once the regular season rolls around, as Robert Covington figures to assume the bulk of the playing time at small forward.
