Jaylen Brown: Starts, scores 13 points in return

After Brown’s hip injury kept him sidelined for the final three games before the
All-Star break, the rookie returned to action Friday and took back a spot in the
starting five with Avery Bradley (Achilles) still sidelined. He ended up turning
in a quality shooting effort and seems to be gaining trust from coach Brad
Stevens as the season goes on, but Brown will likely move back to the bench
perhaps as soon as Sunday against the Pistons. Bradley indicated that he feels
100 percent healthy and has received clearance to play, and it appears he was
only held out Friday for precautionary purposes.
