Stokes beat out Robbie Hummel for the final available reserve spot in the Nuggets’ frontcourt. It’s not expected that Stokes, who was among the top players in the D-League last season but has yet to make much of an impact at the NBA level, will be regular member of coach Michael Malone’s rotation.
