Jared Sullinger: Sits out of practice Sunday

Coach Dwane Casey already acknowledged that Sullinger’s status for the season opener is questionable, but his absence from Sunday’s practice seems to indicate he’s trending in the wrong direction. With another two days for additional rest and recovery, there’s still a chance Sullinger is able to be cleared, although at this point, it’s more likely he’ll be held out of the first few games of the season. Look for Patrick Patterson to assume the minutes at power forward if he remains sidelined.
