Okafor was restricted to just eight minutes during Friday’s preseason finale, but he indicated on Sunday that he expects to see that number increase on Wednesday. Despite the expected increase in playing time, Okafor did acknowledge it likely wouldn’t be a lot more than the eight he played on Friday, so it’s a safe bet to assume he’ll see minutes in the mid-to-high teens at best. With that said, he’s still expected to be available and is slated to be the 76ers’ first big man off the bench behind Joel Embiid and Dario Saric during the 2016-17 campaign.
