Parker has spoken about expanding his shooting range to the three-point line this season, but worked exclusively inside the arc Saturday, and looked good while doing so. The third-year forward often struggled to make an impact early last season while he worked back from a torn ACL, but he hit his stride in the second half, averaging 18.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.5 minutes per game after the All-Star break. Parker figures to approach that production for much of 2016-17 while he settles into a higher-usage role on the offensive end with Khris Middleton (hamstring) likely to miss most of the season.
