J.R. Smith: Will undergo X-ray on thumb

The X-ray is considered precautionary and coach Ty Lue doesn’t expect it to be
anything serious, but Smith missed 36 games with a fracture to the same thumb
earlier this season, so it’s something to monitor over the next few days. As it
currently stands, Smith appears to be in no danger of missing any time, but look
for another update ahead of Wednesday’s Game 2. Smith finished Monday’s Game 1
with six points (2-4 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes.
