J.R. Smith: Plays 25 minutes in season opener

Smith is still trying to shake off the rust after missing most of the preseason while negotiating a new contract with the Cavaliers, so it may take a few games for him to heat up from beyond the arc. Once he’s firing on all cylinders, Smith is an easy plug-and-play in just about every fantasy format, as his contributions in the points, three-pointers and steals categories typically outpace what most other starting shooting guards around the league are capable of providing.
