J.J. Redick: Scores 13 points in Monday’s win

This was the first time Redick had hit double-digit points in the Clippers’ three games, and it’s been a problem of volume rather than efficiency for the veteran sharpshooter, who has hit 44.8 percent of his shot attempts. With Blake Griffin now fully healthy and taking on a larger role in the Clippers’ attack, Redick has seen fewer opportunities. Some of that can be attributed to coach Doc Rivers playing Redick no more than 27 minutes in any contest, so once the team plays some more competitive contests, the 32-year-old’s contributions as a scorer and three-point shooter could improve.
