Coach Rick Carlisle already acknowledged that Barea may not be available for Wednesday’s opener, but considering he was able to take part in some drills Sunday, there’s still a chance he’s cleared before then. He’ll continue to go through additional recovery over the coming few days, but a final word on his status likely won’t come until much closer to tip-off.
