Isaiah Thomas: Scores 33 points, drops nine dimes in Game 1 win

Thomas was unstoppable on offense, scoring exactly 33 points for the third time
during these playoffs while falling one dime shy of a double-double for the
second time. He made only nine threes in six games against the Bulls in the
first round, so it was nice to see him get going from beyond the arc. The
Wizards’ John Wall is among the best defensive point guards in the league, so
this shouldn’t be expected on a nightly basis. With that being said, there’s a
reason Thomas established himself as an MVP candidate during the regular season,
and he’ll have to be on top of his game for the Celtics to advance to the
Eastern Conference Finals.
