After dealing with a back injury throughout training camp, Mahinmi made his preseason debut Thursday, seeing 12 minutes of action, while posting four points (2-3 FG), two rebounds, two assists and two steals. The Wizards continue to play it safe with Mahinmi and are limiting his time on the court during practice, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he saw his playing time restricted again if he ultimately does suit up for Monday’s preseason matchup against the Knicks.
