Ian Clark: Part of nine-man preseason rotation

It’s hard to glean from three preseason games how the Warriors intend to divvy up the playing time during the regular season, but by examining the substitution patterns, Clark appears to the backup shooting guard. Golden State head coach Steve Kerr has also been giving playing time to second-round draft pick Patrick McCaw, who has scored 26 points on 9-for-16 shooting in the preseason with six assists and six steals, though his playing time usually comes later in games. This is the final piece of the rotation to be sorted, but Clark has done nothing to lose the spot.
