Ian Clark: Paces bench with 16 points in Thursday victory

The reserve guard’s near point-per-minute effort was a bright spot in the victory and was a nice contrast from his one-point tally against the Clippers on Tuesday. The 25-year-old slots behind veteran and defensive stalwart Shaun Livingston on the depth chart at point guard, which could well leave him hard-pressed for appreciable playing time once again in the coming season. However, with Livingston a year older and Clark providing some decent production in limited playing time last season, a slight uptick in the 8.8 minutes per contest he averaged in 2015-16 isn’t out of the question.
