On a night when the Warriors were sporting a preseason-type lineup with three
starters and Andre Iguodala sitting for rest, Clark parlayed his extra run into
a career-high point total. The four-year veteran came off the bench but played a
starter’s allotment of minutes and was locked in from all over the court,
supplying his third game with better than 70 percent shooting in the last four.
Clark also had a pair of 10-point efforts in the three games prior, and as
Saturday’s game demonstrated, he’s capable of lighting up the scoreboard with
extended minutes. However, given the Warriors’ starting backcourt, the reality
is that he’s typically destined for minutes in the teens on the majority of
nights, with a bit of an uptick during blowouts.
