MIAMI, September 13 – The Miami HEAT announced today that they will hold their 2016 Training Camp at The Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, from Tuesday, September 27 through Saturday, October 1, 2016. This marks the second time the HEAT will hold training camp in the Bahamas; having previously held training camp there prior to the 2013-14 season.
Following Media Day on Monday, September 26, the HEAT will travel to Nassau and will conduct two-a-day practice sessions beginning on Tuesday. They will conclude the practice sessions and return to Miami on Saturday afternoon.
The HEAT would like to thank the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, the Honorable Perry Christie, and the Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe for their assistance.
