The Miami HEAT fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 99-90 in overtime Tuesday night at FedExForum. Chris Bosh led the way for the HEAT with 22 points.1. Dwyane Wade Saves His Best for LastAlthough Tony Allen did a great job of guarding Wade for a majority of the contest, Wade answered with a great stretch to close out the game. The captain simply did all he could to try and get the win. In fact, he grabbed three offensive boards and scored 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter and overtime period combined. He did so by mixing it up with nifty drives to the hoop and mid-range jumpers. The vet also made some excellent cuts to the rim, as he moved quite well off the ball. In addition to his 19 points on 50 percent shooting, Wade also tallied five boards and five assists.2. Goran Dragic Aggressive AgainMuch like on Saturday night against the Magic, Dragic was very aggressive from the start. Rather than attack the basket, though, the Slovenian did a lot of damage from the perimeter early on against the Grizzlies. He was simply locked in, as he connected on his first five shot attempts. Per usual, he also dished out some nice passes.Perhaps his best dime came with 6:27 left in the first quarter when he drove inside from the left wing after Hassan Whiteside set him a screen. Since Marc Gasol went to help on Dragic, the point guard hit Whiteside with a nifty behind-the-back pass. From there, Whiteside knocked down the short jumper to put Miami up 13-11.View the PlayIn the second half, Dragic started to take it to the hoop a bit more and also worked tirelessly on the defensive end against Mike Conley. Dragic finished the game with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting, five assists and three rebounds.3. Bosh Has a Quick StartThrough the first three quarters, Bosh was absolutely on fire. In fact, he nailed his first four 3-pointers and helped keep Miami neck and neck with Memphis. Along with his team-high 22 points, Bosh also grabbed five boards.3. Sharp Offense Early OnWhile the HEAT played their fourth game in five nights on Tuesday night, you certainly wouldn’t have noticed by the way they played in the first half. As a whole, Miami looked very sharp on the offensive end and displayed a lot of energy. As a result, the HEAT tallied 12 assists on 17 made field goals and shot 56.7 percent through the first two quarters. In all, the team had 23 assists on the night.Other Takeaways:-Tyler Johnson provided a spark off the bench and hit some timely 3-pointers for Miami. Earlier in the contest, he also worked the two-man game with Bosh. The second-year player had 13 points (six in the fourth), four rebounds and three assists against the Grizzlies.-While Whiteside got into some foul trouble, he continued to stick with it and made his biggest contribution down the stretch. He battled well with Gasol and Zach Randolph in the fourth and grabbed four big rebounds late in the quarter.
